# Import with the browser extension

**Unlimited imports.** Products imported through the browser extension **do not count** against your plan's monthly import allowance. Import as many products as you like, at no extra cost.

**Product Authorization Notice:** Make sure you have the rights to import and sell each product. Importing or reselling copyrighted or trademarked products without permission is prohibited.

### 1. Install the extension

Install [OneClick Product Exporter for eBay](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/oneclick-product-exporter/kcaojmgppimmhiaongfpngobljhmhaim) from the Chrome Web Store, then pin it to your browser toolbar for quick access while browsing eBay.

### 2. Capture products with the extension

Browse eBay as usual. When you find a product you want, open the **OneClick Product Exporter for eBay** extension panel and click **Add to list**. The current page's title, price, images, specifics, and variants are captured automatically.

Repeat for as many listings as you want — they're all collected under **Saved Products** inside the extension.

### 3. Export the list as JSON

Once you've added all the products you want, click **Export**, then choose the **JSON** format — this is the format the **eBay importer** reads.

The **Excel (CSV)** format is also available for your own records, but it can't be used for the import in step 4 — use **JSON**.

### 4. Open Bulk Import and switch to the extension tab

In the **eBay Importer** app, go to **Bulk Import**, then switch to the **Import from Extension File** tab and click **Upload JSON file**.

### 5. Select the exported file

Choose the JSON file you exported from the extension. The app validates every product in the file before anything is imported, and shows how many are ready.

Any product that fails validation is excluded from the import — it won't block the rest of the batch.

### 6. Review the list and start the import

Review the list of products that passed validation, then click **Import**.

### 7. Choose your import settings

Set:

* **Inventory tracked** (on/off) and the **product quantity**
* **Continue selling when out of stock**
* The **product status** after import — **Active** (visible to customers) or **Draft** (so you can edit first)
* The **Collections** to add the products to

Click **Import** to confirm. The app creates every product on Shopify and applies your [pricing markup rules](/wilcode-apps/ebay-importer-app/how-to/set-up-pricing-and-markup.md) automatically — and none of it counts against your import allowance.

Already imported one of these products? The app detects duplicates and updates the existing product instead of creating a copy, keeping your collections and settings.
